Catch Client’s Attention with Clear Service Descriptions

How do you find out if your profile is being ignored by clients who are desperately looking for services? How do you check your profile data to see how many clients visit but don’t ask for services? Without this data, you might think your profile is good and fully optimized. However, if you notice clients visiting and then leaving, it’s a sign that something needs improvement. This article will help you make your title and description so engaging (what to include and what not to include) that there is a very low chance of being ignored by clients.

Check Your Profile Analytics to Find the Data

You can find profile data on LinkedIn, but for a service perspective, I use Fiverr to see where my profile ranks and what my CTR (Click-Through Rate) is based on impressions. You can use various platforms to check your profile analytics, but make sure the platform you choose is a service platform. As you are seeking clients, anyone visiting your profile is a potential client looking for something. If they don’t find it, they leave. I most recommend using Fiverr and Upwork for this purpose.

Creating a Hooking Title with Keywords

Once you have the data, check your impressions and clicks. If you have many impressions but no clicks, something might be wrong with your title. Make sure you use a 50-character title that starts with “I will do.” Titles are generally short, so you need to provide full information about what you will offer in your services. Make sure you use the most searched keywords and put them in the title. Use tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Keyword Planner to find the best keywords and include them in your title.

Hook Clients Instantly with Engaging Service Descriptions

Descriptions are the most important elements for convincing clients. When you buy a product, the first thing you notice is the description. Similarly, a client who visits your profile will first look at your descriptions.

Suppose you have written, “I have done this and that, I will write this and I will do that. I have completed this course from here and there, and I have worked here and there.” Do you really think the client wants to know about this? You are just proving your work and giving evidence. The client wants to know what you will do for their brand or product.

Why not write your description by asking the client questions in the form of FAQs? For example:

  • “Do you want your website to be visible in search engines?”
  • “Do you want to increase your brand awareness?”
  • “Do you want to improve your website visibility?”
  • “Tired of getting low conversion rates in Meta and Google ads?”

If the client is facing these problems, these questions will feel relatable, and they will spend more time looking at your profile. Don’t you think so? In simple terms, change the approach from “I will do” to “Do you want.”

Boost Client Trust with Your Impressive Portfolio and Experience!

Portfolio and experience should be related. Whatever you have done and wherever you are working, make sure you maintain your weekly and monthly records in a sheet to show in a better way.

For example, if you are running digital marketing services, make sure you add Google Search Console data, Google Analytics data, and insights from a specific date to now. A person who visits your profile will definitely look at that. If the insights are progressive, you will likely get a positive outcome. Even if your insights are not very impressive, showing them will bring honesty and trust, giving a positive impression as the engagement time increases. This is better than not adding any portfolio or experience at all.
